A Huge Thank You to Brendan Guinan and Fior Bhia Farm
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Brendan Guinan for an incredible day spent exploring regenerative farming at Fior Bhia Farm in Portlaoise. Our Saturday tour was not only informative but also inspiring, showcasing the practicalities of farming in harmony with nature. Brendan’s insights on how to farm without chemical fertilizers, sprays, or antibiotics truly opened our eyes to the possibilities of sustainable agriculture.
The demonstration agroforestry farm tour highlighted how we can provide minimally processed, nutrient-rich food directly to local families while supporting biodiversity and capturing carbon. It was a joy to see firsthand how effective these practices can be!
A special highlight of the day was undoubtedly the free-roaming mother pig and her adorable piglets, who captured everyone’s hearts!
