CELT has provided exhibitions of traditional skills and crafts countrywide including University of Limerick schools open-day and Portumna Castle Heritage Day. We hold 'Weekend in the Woods' adult skills training events every Spring and Autumn and a longer 'Summer in the Woods' event in July. We also hope to host a Woodland Skills Open Day during Heritage Week (September) . These events are currently held in the privately owned Bealkelly Wood, Tuamgraney (not open to visitors outside specified events, except on business).

Summer in the Woods - 12th / 13th July 2008- Another big weekend of traditional and ecological skills training at all levels for adults (age 14+) Proposed courses include Spinning and Weaving, Shave-horse construction, Dry-stone and Lime-mortar Walling (this was missed off some fliers but is definitely available), Basket Weaving, Bow making, Felt making, Blacksmithing, Greenwood Furniture making, Stone Carving, Coppersmithing, Silversmithing, Herb Lore, Boat building, Yurt-wheel construction, Natural Building, Sugan Chair making, Wood Carving and, for 8 - 14 yr old members' children, Woodcrafts
Fee 150 euro for 2 days (+ membership of CELT Club). (Concessions 100 euro - on request). Additional fee for 3rd day if required. For details see Weekend in the Woods and On-line Booking
